What's New - May 2025

This month you'll find many new enhancements to the Market section, as well as upgrades to livestock records and new planting reports.  In the market, you'll now be able to set a default tax rate, sell products in new weight increments, and let your customers pay later by invoice. Working with animal records, you'll see a new alert field for displaying critical information, a streamlined process for performing bulk actions to a group in a grazing location, and some new reports for livestock values. And speaking of new reports, there are also two new ones for plantings as well, helping you see free space in your fields and seedling trays in your greenhouse.

Market Updates

We have made many updates to the Market section this month! This includes new payment methods, new reports, and new ways to sell your products.

Livestock Updates

Have you tried out last month's new feature to track estimated values for your animals over time? If so, you'll now find two new reports to help you analyze your data!

  • The Animal Value History report shows you starting and ending values for all of your animals, based on a date range you supply. This report is individual animal based, with this data shown for each one of your animals.
  • The Livestock Value Summary report show similar starting and ending values, but summarized on a species level. You'll see any additions to your herd, like births, purchases, and donated animals. You'll also see deductions like deaths and sales. All of the values across the date range on compiled, so you can see where you started, and where you ended up!

You'll also find two new new time saving features for animal data,

  • Each animal now has a Record Alert, letting you add critical information to be displayed in a can't-miss yellow highlight at the top of the record. This is shown on the mobile view too, so your farmhands working in the app will see it right away when they access the animal record.
  • You can now make Bulk Action Updates from a grazing location. This works the same as you might be used to from the main dashboard or a group, but can now be accomplished for all animals in a grazing location. That makes it easier to apply treatments, feedings, notes, tasks, and more to any animals in a shared field or enclosure.

Planting Reports

We've added two additional planting reports to help our northern hemisphere customers get started with their new planting season.

  • The Empty Planting Locations report displays any field or bed that does not have a planting in it within a defined date range. Use this to make sure you maximize your growing space and fill your entire area.
  • The Expected Start Tray Counts report shows you the total number of trays, and starts per tray, for any of your upcoming plantings. This can help you ensure you have enough seedlings started to cover your planting area, and adjust if you have unexpected loss rates.

Check out these new features and let us know if you have any questions
