If you would prefer to use Farmbrite with a dark background to match your web browser experience, you can easily set that option under your User Profile. Maybe you want to save some strain on your eyes, or perhaps you simply prefer the darker background aesthetic. Either way, you can navigate to your settings and make that selection; just choose Your Profile from the menu in the upper right, and then change your theme under Settings. This selection is made per user, so you can use the Dark theme even if your colleague would prefer Light.
You'll see three options for the Appearance Theme.
- Light Mode - This is the default setting, and how you view Farmbrite when you first sign up. This uses dark text against a light background.
- Dark Mode - This option can be elected to use light text against a dark background instead.
- Automatic - This selection uses your browser's setting to determine if Farmbrite should be in Dark or Light mode. This can be great if you use Farmbrite on multiple computers and want the theme to reflect your settings on that particular device.
Be sure you save in the bottom right, and you'll see your selection applied. This theme extends throughout the entire system and affects all pages - with a few exceptions, outlined below.
- Your POS and Online Store retain the standard setting and remain unchanged.
- Offline Scout Mode is not changed as it does not access the internet.
- If you have a subaccount, the main dashboard retains the default setting as well.
