If you have extremely important information to communicate about an animal, you'll certainly want to ensure that everyone on your farm knows about it! Maybe you need to let your colleagues know something immediate and time sensitive about their status, or perhaps you just need to make sure they are aware to look out for certain behaviors. No matter what you'd like to be reminded or warned about, you can use the Record Alert feature to highlight the note on the animal record.
To use this feature, navigate to any animal record, and edit their details. You'll see an option for Record Alert near the bottom. Add an alert here, and this information will be displayed in the header area of the animal record, highlighted in yellow. It's pretty difficult to miss!
Adding in Bulk
You can also add these Record Alerts to multiple animals at once by using the Bulk Update feature. Just select the animals you'd like to add the alert for, and then choose Edit Details from the Bulk Actions menu.
