Exporting Crop Type Data

If you'd like to get your crop data in a spreadsheet for use outside of Farmbrite, you can easily export it from the system. Maybe you need to share the types of crops you grow and their characteristics with your local county or state agency, or perhaps you just want to share your hard work with a friend who is also starting a farm. This crop type export will contain data like the plant name, it's rates and timeframes, it's seed packet details, and a lot more. The format is a CSV, which can be read by any spreadsheet program like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

To download this export data, simply navigate to the My Crops page and click the actions button. From there you can choose to Download All Data.

Also, be aware that you can modify the details in this sheet to update your crop types via import. If you have many different types of plants and want to update their details all at once, you can download this sheet, make the changes you need, and then re-import the sheet to update all of your crops types at once. This might be preferable to editing them individually to change things like expected days to maturity, spacing, and yield expectations one-by-one.
