What's New - June 2025

We have many updates to the market section this to review this month! First, you'll find a new Point of Sale system to record sales at your farm store or a farmers market. This can help you process transactions quicker and makes it easy to record all of your in-person sales. To support this, you'll also find other market updates like a new user role for your shop workers and the ability to mark your customer contacts as tax exempt. You can now also better organize your products by creating variations to account for unique packaging or quantities for different items, and then update the quantities you have for sale in bulk as well. Let's take a look!

All of the new features this month are located under the Market section. Just chose Market on the left, and you can start setting these up and using them!

  • You can now process in-person market orders through a Point of Sale system. This could be very helpful if you are selling at a farmers market or have a store at your farm.  You'll immediately see similarities with this and your online shop, with the POS enhanced to streamline servicing your in-person customers. You'll be able to optionally bypass collecting customer data like phone and email, and can easily take online payments via a QR code system or with a connected terminal. You'll complete the payment and start your next order immediately, ready to help the next customer in line!

  • Market products can now be separated into Product Variations, helping you better keep track of sizes, quantities, colors, and other unique attributes of the goods your sell. These variations also give your online shop customers a better experience, as they can now select the product they want to purchase and then the specific packaging, quantity, sizing, color, etc.

  • Product quantities available for online sale can now be updated in bulk. You can use this time saving feature to select multiple products and update the amount that your have for sale, as well as their current status.

  • You can now mark contacts as tax exempt to ensure they do not get charged taxes. This applies to the POS, orders you create administratively, and orders your customer submits through the online store.

  • There is a new user role for Shop Worker to help support these changes as well. This role has access to everything under the market section, but no access to Warehouse and Inventory configuration and setup.

That wraps up the new features for this month, reach out to us if you have any questions we can help with or feedback on these features!
