Thanks for checking out what's new this month in Farmbrite! First, we'll see some new updates to the Livestock section, including the ability to import yields and measurements across multiple animals, a new filter for animal age, and a new report for your Set group History. After that, we'll examine new filters and keywords that we have added to the Task Management List and Calendar, and then explore a new way for you to see your inventory history based on the warehouse it is stored in. Then we'll wrap up with some enhancements to the Market, including some online shop updates that improve your customer's experience with the store, and your experience with the POS system. Let's take a look!
Livestock Updates
There are three changes to the Livestock section this month.
- You can now import yields and measurements for multiple animals at the same time. You could previously do this on a per animal basis, but now can import a single sheet to add them for different animals at once. So if you run a dairy or raise chickens and need to record daily yields, you can now import a spreadsheet to add them for your animals. Or, if you are weighing you livestock on a scale that can export a spreadsheet of all weighed animals, you'll now be able to add them all at once as well!
- Livestock Groups and reports can now be filtered by animal age. You can now set a range of days, weeks, months, or years old to filter a group or report. This might help you create subgroups of animals within a give age, like 0-6 weeks, 2-8 months, and so on.
- There is a new Set Group History report to track changes to your Sets. If you track animals like poultry, fish, or bees as Set groups, you can now run a report to see a log of additions and reductions to your group. So as you purchase and sell animals, or record births and deaths, you'll now have an easy to use report to see all those changes over time.
Task and Event Updates
The Task List and Schedule have been improved with associated keywords and enhanced filtering. If you've used keywords on your livestock or equipment records in the past, you'll know they provide the ability to tag your records with custom text, and then easily search based on the keyword later. Now you can tag your tasks and events in the same way, and then search to display them based on these unique tags. You'll also see an expanded filter on the Task page, giving you more flexibility to see you tasks based on assignment, priority, due dates, and of course keywords!
Market Enhancements
You'll see a few updates and changes to the Market this month too.
- The Online Shop has a new cart feature that streamlines your customer's purchasing process. This leaves your customer on the same page when they add a product to their cart, letting them easily continue shopping to add additional items. A similar feature has also been added to the Point of Sale, giving you a similarly streamlined experience as well.
- The payment link shown in your invoice emails has been improved to display additional details about your customer's order. They'll now see an order summary before paying, helping them verify their selected products are correct prior to payment.
Warehouse History
Inventory history is now available for individual warehouses. This new feature compiles a log of additions and reductions to your inventory in a specific warehouse location. You can see all of the different items and quantities going in and out of that warehouse by date from the warehouse record, and can also run a new Location History Report to see these logs for multiple warehouses at once.
